About & Corrections

Last updated October 14, 2026

Gulf Coast Recovery is an independent directory of food, shelter, cleanup, roofing, restoration, and other recovery resources for Northwest Florida and South Alabama.

How listings are researched

• Starter listings were researched from each organization's official website or business profile. The date shown on each listing is when it was reviewed.
• We did not call organizations to confirm availability unless a listing says so.
• Community members can suggest new listings and edits. Every suggestion is reviewed before it appears on the site.

Please read before you rely on a listing

• Hours, locations, and capacity change quickly after a storm. Call the provider before you travel.
• A listing is not an endorsement, and this directory is not affiliated with any listed organization or government agency.
• Listings marked "Featured" are placed first at the site owner's discretion.
• "Paid" listings are commercial services. A free estimate is not free repair work.
• Google ratings and review excerpts are customers' opinions, shown as of the date noted.
• In a life-threatening emergency, call 911.

Corrections and removal requests

If you represent a listed organization, or you know a listing is wrong, use Suggest an edit on that listing, or the submission form. Say in the note that you represent the organization, or that you are requesting removal. A reviewer checks every request.
